Bronchoalveolar lavage

Good Morning,

Yesterday Xander was fully sedated for a Bronchoalveolar lavage procedure. This is where they use a scope/camera to go down into the lung and gather samples of what they saw in the CT scan. The procedure went very well and Xander took the evening to recover. We will get some results today and then others as the days go on. They are testing for different types of viruses, bacterias and fungals.

He still is not interested in eating, we are trying very hard to get him to do just little bits many times throughout the day... but no luck so far. Maybe today will be different.

Today is the May Day celebration at school; Molly will get to dress up and dance around the May pole and then gather for snacks and socializing afterward. She is really looking forward to it!

We are surrounded by love and support ~ we can't thank you enough!

Peace and Love

  3. I spoke to your sister today. I told her she had to watch out for you and to give you a hug and kiss for me. She agreed to do so!

    Love,
