Hello and Good Morning,
Xander spiked a fever last night and it continues. We have changed most of his meds around again to IV, as he is having trouble keeping food and meds down. He will go back on TPN this evening, so that he doesn't have to force himself to eat as much.
This may sound bad, but there is good news as we work through the dog days of transplant, that he maintained his hemoglobin yesterday and it even went up a little. During the last transplant, he felt really bad while he was engrafting. We are hoping and praying that we are just getting an early start this time.
We are working closely with the Doctors and Nurses to make sure all bases are covered.
He is getting much needed rest today.
Love to All and hoping he feels good for tomorrow's birthday surprises
Xander, we're so sorry you are feeling bad. We hope you start feeling better soon! We love you all.

Hi Xander, I'm reading your story from near Newcastle, on the east coast of Australia. It's Saturday here, which I believe means its your birthday (the best bit about having friends in different time zones is that you get to celebrate your birthday for two days instead of just one). I hope that everything works out for you, and I hope that your mum and dad are looking after themselves as well as they are looking after you. Hugs from Down Under, mate.
